Mapstr.gg is a fantastic resource for hosting custom maps for Rust.

Here's how to upload your own map:

1. Ensure it's a .map file: Rust maps are saved in the .map format. Make sure you have your map file ready.

2. If you don't already have one, sign up for a free account on mapstr.gg.

3. Log in to your Mapstr.gg account. Select your .map file and then click the "Upload Map" button

4. Once your map is uploaded, it will be listed within your profile on Mapstr.gg.

5. You will then take the link for your custom map and navigate to your startup section within your server panel.

6. Put the link into the "Custom Map URL" box and then start your server up.

Note

Some custom maps will require the RustEdit oxide extension which can be found here: RustEdit

The .dll file must be uploaded to your "RustDedicated_Data/Managed" folder.
